Job overview
Stage 4, 5 and 6 Mathematics, including 2U Mathematics with Extension 1 preferred.
The successful applicant will be an expert and experienced teacher of Stage 4, 5 and 6 mathematics (Stage 6 Mathematics experience is essential). An ability to teach Science or RE will be an advantage, though not an essential requirement.
Essential Criteria:
- An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education
- Demonstrated expertise as a classroom practitioner teaching Stages 4, 5 and 6 Mathematics
- Appropriate qualifications
- A demonstrated capacity to align practice with a whole-school Positive Behaviour for Learning model of student support
- An appropriate mix of pedagogical, content and technological knowledge
- An informed understanding of inclusive, learner-centred pedagogy
- An ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to staff professional culture
