Castle House School have recently implemented a pioneering curriculum that is rooted in Project Based Learning that stems from the passions and interests of the children. We have also developed a Forest School within the school grounds, which is unique to other schools within our local area.

Our school is a small, vibrant and innovative independent prep school catering for children from the ages of 2 to 11 years. 

Located in the delightful town of Newport, Shropshire, Castle House is non selective and prides itself in its commitment to discovering children’s talents and nurturing their creativity.    

We are seeking to appoint an energetic, ambitious and inspiring qualified teachers to join our fantastic team with effect from January 2018. 

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, outstanding and creative practitioner who can deliver challenging and enriching learning opportunities. The candidate must be willing to contribute to the rich extra-curricular life of the school and there is the possibility of an area of responsibility for the right candidate. 

Considerable emphasis is placed on the on-going professional development of its staff and the successful candidate will be encouraged and expected to continue to develop their practice. Furthermore, the ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and colleagues is essential.    

The position reports to the Head and our Governing Board.
