About the role:

You will be teaching A-level and GCSE Maths within the Maths and Computing Department at City and Islington Sixth Form College.  You will be part of a team of 9 staff and, as well as A-level Maths, the Department offers Further Maths, Computer Science and GCSE Maths. These subjects are popular choices for students at the Sixth Form College and we have around 400 students studying A-level Maths and 90 students studying GCSE Maths each year. You will be working in a supportive and friendly environment.


About you:

We are looking for an outstanding teacher with high expectations of students. You will have successful experience of teaching A-level Maths and be enthusiastic, innovative and care about students. 


About us:

City and Islington Sixth Form College is a well-established and over-subscribed specialist A-level centre, with 1600 students on roll. We are situated on one site at the Angel in the heart of London and our wonderful students travel from across the capital to learn with us. All teachers are tutors to a pastoral group of up to 22 A-level students and we have a wide range of enrichment and extension activities to develop our students' confidence and skills.
