Barton Peveril is a highly successful Sixth Form College that is seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of A Level Biology and BTEC Applied Science to cover a period of maternity absence. You will make each subject exciting, high performing and stimulate students’ interest and enthusiasm in their studies.
Working within the Biology team, you will teach 1st Year A Level Biology and Level 3 BTEC Applied Science.
You will contribute towards driving the increase of the ALPs scores for the department. Your teaching will be of the highest quality and the results will reflect the high calibre of your teaching. You must have a commitment to active and innovative teaching and learning, both inside and outside the classroom. You will have the passion to be part of a successful teaching environment which produce the best from the students.
You will join a team of 5 Biology Teachers and 2 Biology Technicians who report to the Subject Leader for Biology who in turn report to the Director of Science.
