Holyport College was founded under the Government’s free school programme as the UK’s first State Boarding free school and is a co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 11 – 19 years, providing an outstanding, all-round education, opening in 2014.
Approximately 45% of our pupils are boarders and accordingly we operate a longer school day than traditional day schools, offering a full and varied co-curriculum to all students with many activities taking place in the evening or at weekends, as well as in the afternoons.
From 11-16 we are a fully comprehensive school teaching our traditional academic curriculum to students from across the ability range.
