Teacher of Art and Graphics
Kenilworth School and Sixth Form is rated as Outstanding by Ofsted (2013) and as the only secondary school in the community of Kenilworth, is oversubscribed with motivated, well behaved and engaging pupils.
We are a split site, with Years 7 – 11 based at Leyes Lane and Sixth Form set on our Rouncil Lane site. We have two art studios at both sites and the school is well resourced to support the delivery of the subject.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Art and Graphics to work within a team of five art teachers, who are supported by an Art Technician.
Our Art Department is highly successful and offers Fine Art and Graphic Communication at GCSE and A level. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to teach at all key stages and join a dedicated team, who have a raft of expertise and are committed to the promotion of Art and Design in education and beyond.
Kenilworth Art Department is a Subject Hub of Excellence for Initial Teacher Training and a Hub of Excellence for the exam board, WJEC.
We would welcome applications from NQTs or experienced teachers.
