Job overview
Required for September 2018, a teacher of Art and Photography. This is a temporary one year contract in the first instance. Teaching will be mainly at KS3, though the ability to teach to A Level would be helpful. The Art Department is a dynamic and forward thinking area of the school which achieves strong results at GCSE and A Level. The post may also include some teaching of year 7 Technology.
QEGS is a high achieving, popular 11-18 girls’ comprehensive school and converter academy. The school is very accessible by bus and tube, being adjacent to High Barnet station on the Northern line.
The school promotes and safeguards the welfare of children. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as such all candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
