We are mindful of staff wellbeing and continually aim to maximise student learning without increasing workload. We create and share innovative resources, work collaboratively, and are committed to developing professional practice opportunities for students across all year groups. We develop great relationships with our students and communicate regularly with their parents.

The Creative Arts Faculty is a key part of Cheney’s success. We are keen to develop and improve the department further by recruiting a teacher who shares the high expectations and drive of the current department staff is essential for this.

You will need to demonstrate that you:

• Are passionate about helping students make excellent progress and reach their potential in art and photography;
• Have a proven track record as an outstanding and creative practitioner;
• Have the desire and enthusiasm to play an active and collaborative role in contributing to a strong culture of sharing best practice, resources and ideas;
• Can demonstrate the talent, interpersonal and leadership skills required to inspire and motivate students.
