Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status and experience of teaching Art to at least GCSE level.


September 2020 – July 2021 


Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a part-time Teacher of Art, for a long term supply assignment at a forward thinking academy in Barnsley. The position will require the teacher to plan and deliver engaging lesson content to KS3 and KS4 students.


The role

The role is for the duration of the 2020-21 academic year, with potential to lead to a permanent position dependant on the needs of the school at the time. The role will require the desired Art teacher to plan and mark across Key Stages 3 and 4.  The role is part time, 3 days per week, with the school currently able to be flexible over the agreed working days.

Based in Barnsley with an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’, the school are particularly interested in hearing from NQT’s, or teachers at the beginning of their careers. However teacher at all stages of their career are still encouraged to apply.


Requirements

To be considered for the Art Teacher position, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

• Have experience teaching Art up to GCSE level.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
