Science at BGS is thriving and the three science departments work closely to ensure the very best provision for our pupils. The ethos of the Biology department is to deliver fun and engaging teaching that instil a passionate interest in the living world, whilst at the same time providing students with the optimum exam preparation.

The person appointed will be expected to be able to teach Biology from Year 7 through to A Level. In addition the department offers IB Biology at both Standard and Higher Level and there may be opportunity for the right candidate to teach this course or be trained to do so.
