Glyn is ideally situated just ten minutes’ walk from both Ewell East and Ewell West stations, both of which are approximately 20 minutes from Clapham Junction and within Zone 6.

Sixth Form at Glyn School:

This is an exciting time to join our large and thriving comprehensive Sixth Form, which is a successful mixed post-16, with 546 students. We have high expectations for our Sixth Formers, challenging and supporting them to achieve their full potential, whether that be pursuing further education or vocational career pathways. We are delighted with our Summer 2018 A Level results showing that our students made progress significantly above the national average. From our outgoing Year 13 cohort, 197 students gained a university place, including 65 Russell Group admissions, 3 Oxbridge admissions and 71 apprenticeship placements.

Business Studies and Economics at Glyn School:

As part of the Social Sciences faculty, our high-performing Business Studies and Economics department encourages a collaborative work environment and has an exceptional team ethic.  Many of our sixth formers pursue Business Studies and Economics at University and you will have the opportunity to teach both Business and Economics at GCSE and A-Level.

Business Studies is offered across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.  Business and Economics is extremely popular at both GCSE and A-Level and interest in the subject continues to grow.  With a thriving cohort in Business and Economics, you will join a faculty whose success rests on outstanding and innovative teaching.
