Teacher of Business Studies – MPR

Required   1st January 2018

Are you a well-qualified teacher of Business Studies and an inspiring classroom practitioner?

Would you like to join a department with a proven track record of success at KS4 and KS5?

Moulsham High School’s vision is to become an outstanding school with outcomes for students significantly above national averages. The ‘Real School’ guide places it in the top 7% of all schools nationally.

We are looking for an outstanding teacher, with a commitment to continuing professional development, to join our Business Studies department. Business Studies remains a very popular option subject at KS4 (BTEC Level 2 and GCSE) and KS5 (BTEC Level 3 and A-level). Staff have high expectations of achievement for all. You would be required to teach business studies at KS4 and KS5.

The department also offers GCSE and A-level Economics. Some Economics teaching could be available for a suitable candidate.

The post is suitable for either an NQT or a more experienced candidate. NQTs teach a reduced timetable and follow an excellent, year-long induction programme led by an Assistant Headteacher.

Moulsham High School has a close working relationship with an on-site early year’s childcare provider. This enables staff working at the school to receive a discount if full day nursery or wrap around care is required.

Closing date: Friday 17th November 2018
