for a suitable applicant)

Required from September 2024

MPS or UPS salary scale £30,000 - £46,525 per annum

Are you an outstanding Business Studies Teacher with the potential to lead a department in

the future? Are you committed to delivering inspirational lessons for our students, in order

that they can achieve well? If the answer to the questions above is yes, Light Hall could be

the school for you.

The ability to teach IT as a second subject (if required) would be preferable.

We are seeking someone to work with us to secure the very best outcomes for students at

our school.

Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply. We offer a structured, supportive and

personalised ECT induction with support from a mentor and training. Bespoke professional

development will be provided.

In return, we can offer you a school and senior leadership team who will encourage you and

allow you to play an active part in our continued school improvement. Our students are

enthusiastic about Business Studies, keen to learn and demonstrate excellent conduct, behaviour and attitudes to learning. In addition, we have a team of dedicated and enthusiastic teachers and Lead Practitioners and excellent resources.

The successful applicant will be joining us at a very exciting time. We are adding a sixth

form to our educational provision to begin in September 2024. This brings with it numerous opportunities for continued development. Therefore, an ability to teach the subject beyond age 16 would be an advantage.

We also offer a range of staff benefits including pension with generous employer contribution

and free employee wellbeing services such as free physiotherapy and chiropractor sessions,

GP consultations for staff and their children 24 hours a day, 7 days a week worldwide and flu

jabs.
