An enthusiastic, inspirational and well-qualified Teacher of Chemistry is required for a maternity cover position from February 2019. This is an exciting opportunity to join an energetic, forward-thinking and high-achieving department.
The Chemistry Department consists of ten full-time teachers and four technical staff across eight well-equipped laboratories. Chemistry results at Hampton are excellent, with 98% of students achieving Grades 9- 7 in GCSE Chemistry in 2018. In the Sixth Form, approximately 130 students study one of the three courses on offer – CIE Pre-U, OCR Chemistry A Level and OCR AS Level Chemistry, with 91% of students achieved A*- B in 2018.
