The College is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, high performing and enthusiastic individual to the full-time post of Teacher of Computer Science and Digital T-Level , who will lead and inspire students.

Computer Science and Digital T Level at Notre Dame

This is a new post to join a team of professionals in a College where the Digital provision is responsive, progressive and growing. We are very excited to have launched the first T Level Digital programme for the city of Leeds September 2020 which also complements the curriculum offer of A level computer Science, Level 3 Games Design and a BTEC L2 IT programme. The aim of this curriculum offer is to provide breadth of opportunity in response to local and national need. Leeds is often described as the ‘Digital Nexus of the North’ and we are particularly pleased to have secured industry placements with specialised prominent digital employers. The College has invested in industry standard specialist resources to ensure the very best can be offered to our students.

The Computer Science and IT department at Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College is extremely high performing with a track record of achieving Outstanding ALPs value added for the last three years. The department is lively, dynamic and progressive in terms of its approaches to delivering the specifications we currently offer. The department has a wealth of experience and professional knowledge and would welcome applications from teachers who feel they could make an immediate contribution to the teaching of the A Level Computer Science and coding for the T Level Digital.

There is a friendly and professional atmosphere within the department and a strong emphasis on encouraging a positive rapport between staff and students in the pursuit of academic success.  Within the department there is a wealth of experience and professional knowledge. We would welcome applications from recently qualified teachers and NQTs.
