The Academy caters for 11 to 19 year olds and currently has 750 students on roll. You will work within a well-resourced, supportive Computing department full of excellent practitioners, keen to share best practice and continue moving forward. We also work collaboratively with other Ormiston Academies, both locally and nationally. This ensures we are at the leading edge of the latest developments in the subject, able to deliver the highest quality professional development and provide progression opportunities within the Trust. The Academy also works closely with PiXL, with our staff leading national strategies and influencing practice elsewhere.
This is an ideal and exciting opportunity for an outstanding and inspirational individual who has the drive, energy and enthusiasm to work with the existing team with a view to continuing to build on the progress already made. You will have the opportunity to contribute to an exciting curriculum, which will help motivate our students to achieve beyond their potential. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering Computer Science and IT at all Key Stages, with a proven track record of student progress performance and attainment. We are committed to offering excellent opportunities for CPD.
