Blue Coat is a successful and oversubscribed school in the heart of the city of Coventry. The school was graded ‘Outstanding’ in its SIAMS inspection and ‘Good’ by Ofsted in June 2016 and continues to perform exceptionally well academically.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Computer Science / ICT to commit to a bold vision of cutting edge teaching at Blue Coat.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate an ability to inspire students creatively using practical and relevant technology, and an enthusiasm for new developments in the subject. Candidates must be able to teach all key stages and abilities, delivering Computer Science at KS3, GCSE and A-Level. An understanding of ICT subjects is also desirable, including BTEC ICT.
All programming teaching at Blue Coat School is conducted in Python. Candidates must be prepared to demonstrate an understanding of programming to KS5 level.
There is the potential to support the right candidate in developing their skills.
