King Richard III College is a private non-denominational international school offering a British education to children from the age of 2-18 years. The education system follows the English National Curriculum and the Sistema Español runs alongside, allowing our students to graduate with A Levels and the titulo de bachiller.

King Richard III College began life in 1969 as the American School before changing to the English system in 2000. The college is located to the south west of Palma in an affluent coastal residential area.

Academic levels are high at KR3. This year we had 100% pass rate at A Level allowing many of our students to take up their places at Russell Group universities in the UK. Most of our graduates go on to university, mainly in the UK and Spain and sometimes further afield.

We are seeking to recruit a teacher of computer science for the secondary school, taking effect in January, 2019.

The successful applicant will:

  • have a good honours degree
  • have a PGCE or other qualified teacher status for secondary teaching
    recent experience teaching ICT and computer science at IGCSE and computer science at A Level in a British school
  • have excellent classroom management skills
  • be a native level English speaker
  • provide valid references, and have an up to date CRB/DBS check
  • be an excellent practitioner with a commitment to education
