Teacher of Dance – Maternity Cover
We seek to appoint a Teacher of Dance to cover a maternity leave. The ideal candidate for this vacancy will be an ambitious, passionate and dedicated teacher, possessing outstanding teaching skills and an ability to inspire and engage students of all ages. Teaching PE at KS3 level is desirable. If you feel that you have these attributes and skills, and are a suitably qualified, highly motivated professional, then we would like to hear from you.
The dance department has celebrated fantastic progress since the opening of the Academy. It is part of a very hard working, supportive and ambitious department which is completely committed to excellence. The Academy is proud to be a lead school in the area for the “This Girl Can Campaign”. In addition to Dance being taught at GCSE and A Level, we also provide further learning opportunities for students during SAS (Skills Action and Service) lessons on Wednesday afternoons. The department also choreographs pieces for shows and various other school events.
