We are delighted to advertise for this exciting role, as Teacher of Design and Technology at Ravens Wood School. This is a crucial role within the School, highlighting the popularity and success of the subject at all key stages. In 2018, our DT students secured 30% A*-A grades at GCSE and 90% A*-C. Meanwhile our KS5 DT students achieved an ALPs 2 score. With over ninety A Level students and 130 Year 11 students, Design and Technology is a high-profile Department, which is about to receive significant investment.
Set in a semi-rural location on the outskirts of Bromley, Ravens Wood School is just 20 minutes from Central London by train and 5 minutes from open countryside. The area also boasts fantastic transport links to the surrounding areas.
The School received an extremely impressive Ofsted Report in April 2018, and is rated ‘Good’ in all areas. We are extremely ambitious and are continuing on our journey towards being a truly ‘Outstanding’ school. Ravens Wood also has a very impressive STEM-focus, to which DT contributes significantly.
