We wish to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and ambitious Teacher of Drama and English to teach across KS3 to KS5 from September 2018.
The successful candidate will have the ability to teach across all age and ability ranges . You will be an effective classroom teacher with the ability to raise the achievement of all students and be keen to play a full part in the life of the school.

The English department offers English Language, English Literature, Drama and Media and is one of the most consistently successful departments in the school. In 2017, the department achieved 90% 4+ and 83% 5+ in GCSE English and were ranked in the 7th percentile nationally for progress with a Progress 8 score in English of +0.81. Half of all students achieved a 7 or above in GCSE English. A level results are also very strong; last year’s A level Literature students achieved 71% A*- C.
Prendergast School is an Outstanding 11-16 Girls School with a mixed 6th Form of 340 and benefits from being part of the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools.
