We are looking for a dynamic teacher of Economics & Business to join our school, who is a strong practitioner with a passion for inspiring students. This is the perfect opportunity to shape and develop economics as the leader of this subject at post 16. 

Oxford Spires Academy is a well-established comprehensive in East Oxford with over 1200 students including 6th Form. A strength of Oxford Spires is the warm, welcoming culture for students and staff alike and a huge sense of community as ‘our children are happy and there is a strong culture of respect across the school’ (Ofsted 2017)


The business & computing team is highly respected and pedagogically focused. The subject plays an important role in our richly diverse school community and contributes positively to the experience of our students.  As the subject leader for economics this will provide the perfect opportunity to further shape and develop what is a strong area within the Sixth Form. Economics achieved an ALPs grade of 2 in 2018, it is a very popular and well established subject within the school.
