Job overview
We are looking to appoint an experienced, dynamic, enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join our friendly and vibrant English department which is expanding due to an increase in the number of students on role. The Local Authority has committed an additional £1 million to expand our facilities this year.
This post is ideal for candidates with one or more year’s teaching experience looking for their first promotion. We will seek to tailor the role to individual candidate’s strengths to help students make excellent progress across the age and ability range.
The Ockendon Academy was rated as Good with Outstanding features in 2014 by Ofsted, with behaviour rated as Outstanding. We are an ambitious school with excellent facilities and a track record of training and developing staff.
