Ercall Wood Technology College is a dynamic, innovative and forward thinking school in Telford, Shropshire, with many exceptional features. We occupy a brand new, state of the art build which is a pleasure to work in.
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, confident, creative and enthusiastic teacher of English. Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to be an effective team member and implement imaginative solutions to raising the attainment of students. There may also be a 2nd in department position available for a suitable candidate.
Candidates must have considered the following elements of their own practice: how their pedagogy and values underpin their teaching practice; be committed to the academic and emotional welfare of children; demonstrate a passion for teaching and their specialist discipline.
We provide a high level of support, professional development and can offer a welcoming working environment. We have a whole school commitment to developing practice through CPD, coaching, department leads and a dedicated senior lead for Teaching and Learning. As such there is considerable support available, so any level of experience is welcome to apply.
