Required for the beginning of the summer term 2018, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational and talented teacher of English to join our vibrant and successful department.
Results in English are excellent at the end of each key stage. In 2017, 93% achieved Grade 4 and above at Key Stage 3; 89% achieved Grade 4 and above in English Literature with 7% achieving Grade 9 and 88% achieved Grade 4 and above in English Language with 8% achieving Grade 9.
Ranelagh is an 11-18 coeducational, Anglican Academy (converter) which is oversubscribed and has an excellent reputation for academic achievement and positive school ethos. The school has had four ‘outstanding’ OFSTED reports, with Grade 1 across all areas, but we are not complacent and as such the provision for professional learning and development is something of which we are all very proud.
This post may be suitable for an experienced or newly qualified teacher. Potential candidates may also wish to know that our admissions policy enables the school to prioritise the admission of children of staff recruited to posts in which there is a demonstrable skill shortage.
If you have a very good knowledge and understanding of the subject and you are an excellent teacher looking to develop your career in a supportive and progressive environment, we would welcome an application from you. Opportunities for personal development are excellent. Candidates interested in leadership of whole school literacy should contact the Headteacher for further details.
If you are interested in learning more about the position, please contact the Headteacher via the school office, on 01344 421233 or by email: email@example.com Details of the post are also available on the school website: www.ranelagh.bracknell-forest.sch.uk
Closing date: Tuesday 12 December 2017
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. All staff employed in the school must be aware that an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be undertaken.
