Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational English teacher from January 2018. You will have a passion for your subject along with the drive, energy and enthusiasm to work within the existing team to ensure the students continue to make good progress and develop a love for English.
It is important that you have a strong knowledge and are up to speed on the changes to the current curriculum at Key Stage 3 and 4. The English department are situated together in the centre of the school and have consistently maintained good outcomes in all measures, with GCSE results well above the national average.
Cove School is an 11-16 school and has approximately 1,000 pupils on roll. The school is within easy travelling of London, the historical city of Winchester and the beautiful New Forest. It is an exceptionally exciting time to be at Cove School. A school that is a rapidly improving, works closely with the local authority and with other schools across Hampshire.

Cove School is a larger than average 11-16 secondary co-educational establishment, located in the north of Hampshire. We are a local authority school within easy commute of London, the historic city of Winchester and the beautiful scenery of the New Forest.
