Selwood Academy is looking to recruit an innovative, dynamic specialist Teacher of English to join our highly motivated and committed team. The successful candidate will be required to teach across Curriculum Years 5 – 8 age range, and is most suited to an English specialist from either a primary or secondary background. About Selwood Academy
Selwood Academy is a mixed, non-selective, Church of England and Methodist middle deemed secondary school situated in the town of Frome, eastern Somerset. It is an academy converter supported by a single-academy trust called Selwood Academy and under the Diocese of Bath and Wells. A larger than average size for a secondary school, the school will provide 704 places for students between the ages of 9-13 when fully subscribed.
Selwood converted to academy status in December 2011.
