Governors are seeking to appoint an ambitious, enthusiastic and inspiring English teacher to join our highly regarded and successful English team with effect from September 2018. Cardinal Heenan is an oversubscribed and successful school where students’ attitudes to learning are positive. 2017 saw the school achieving its best ever GCSE results with 79% of students achieving a Grade 4 or above in both English and Maths. While our Catholic ethos sets us apart from other schools’ we welcome staff and pupils from all backgrounds.

Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School values religious studies. Children are encouraged to demonstrate their talents and develop new skills by following the rules of Christianity. Therefore, Religious Education is one of the most valued subjects at the school. Their aim is to respect others and make the world a better place to live in. Worshiping Christ is valued and pupils’ achievement is celebrated by all. Students should also be tolerant of people from all backgrounds of life.
