This vacancy arises due to the schools expansion plan where we need additional staff to join our superb team.
We are seeking an ambitious teacher who has the passion and motivation to inspire students.
You will be an outstanding practitioner; have proven experience of teaching at KS3, KS4 and KS5 and passionate about your subject.
Whether you are an established teacher or an NQT wishing to start your teaching career and are ambitious, have a passion for the subject and are able to deliver excellent lessons that are exciting, engaging and inclusive then we wish to hear from you.
Students enjoy a varied range of extra-curricular activities including Sport, Music, Drama, Languages and Trips and we have been graded as “good” by Ofsted.
We feel extremely proud to have been awarded funding of £4.7 million for a new building project from our Borough; work started in July 2017 on new Science Laboratories, classrooms and cafeteria.
As one of the top performing schools in the area we take pride in getting the most out each of our students. Last year 80% of our GCSE students achieved 5+ A*-C including English and Maths.
Maidenhead is situated in the heart of the commuter belt and benefits from excellent road and rail links. The town itself is undergoing regeneration, and the opening of Crossrail in 2018 only adds to its appeal. We also boast some of the most beautiful countryside in Berkshire with the River Thames running directly through the town.
Cox Green School also take a leading role in the Teach Maidenhead programme, the region's teacher training provider.
