A well-qualified and enthusiastic graduate specialist is required full time to teach English as part of a strong and successful department at King Edward VI School. The contract offered is for one academic year, to cover for a period of maternity leave.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching of English throughout the full age-range. A willingness to contribute to the School’s wide range of co-curricular activities is expected, particularly in contributing to trips and productions.
The post would be equally suitable for an experienced teacher or someone seeking a first appointment. The School encourages applications from good graduates for entry into our bespoke ITT programme leading to Qualified Teacher Status. The training is fully supported, accredited by a leading University and includes a competitive salary.
