We are looking for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join this very successful, high achieving department.

This fantastic opportunity will be suited to an individual who is self-motivated and has excellent subject knowledge. We are really looking forward to interviewing candidates who are committed to inspiring and motivating students through their innovative and engaging teaching. Successful applicants will benefit from the meticulous collaborative planning that a hard working team continue to develop in line with the significant increase in challenge at GCSE and A Level.

The English Department contains a combination of experience and expertise who are determined to enable students to reach their full potential in both English Language and Literature. This post would suit an NQT who is keen to start their career in an incredibly supportive environment with opportunities for professional development. Equally we would be pleased to appoint an experienced teacher who could enhance our thriving Department. The ability and enthusiasm to teach to A Level would be advantageous.

Hollyfield is a beautiful school set in the Surbiton area of Surrey with excellent transport links to central London which enables our staff and young people to take full advantage of the wealth of opportunities that London provides.

We are an ambitious school that puts student achievement and wellbeing at its heart.

In April 2016 we were judged by Ofsted to be ‘good’ -‘The provision for pupils’ personal development is outstanding.’ Since then we have worked hard to continue to develop our high standards.

We are part of the Every Child, Every Day Multi Academy Trust and consequently, have further developed our extremely strong working relationship with Grey Court School (an Ofsted rated ‘outstanding’ school). We are very excited about the future and the opportunities the MAT will bring for staff.
