We wish to appoint a well-qualified, ambitious teacher to the above post. The English Department currently has 11 staff, and has an excellent record of success, with 87% of students achieving the higher GCSE grades (9-4) in English Language and 91% in English Literature in 2017. The department also has a strong track record of results at A-level, teaching A-level English Literature, English Language and Media Studies. This is a supportive department, where ideas are welcomed and best practice is shared.
