The Gateway Academy is part of the larger Gateway Learning Community (GLC): a partnership of local primary and secondary schools committed to working together to achieve the highest educational standards for the whole community and is a friendly school that values teamwork and high achievement in all areas of our work with young people.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and dynamic teacher of Food Technology.  The candidates applying for this post should be hardworking professionals committed to thorough lesson planning, enthusiastic delivery and careful assessment. We welcome applications from committed and ambitious teachers seeking opportunities in an environment with a very active CPD programme and opportunities for career advancement.

We also welcome NQTs with drive and ambition, who feel they would thrive in a highly supportive and ambitious environment as well as from more experienced colleagues who have that something extra to offer an already well-established department.
