At the Prior Pursglove College site in Guisborough, we are seeking to appoint a highly effective and enthusiastic teacher able to engage, inspire and motivate students studying on Foundation Learning programmes with abilities ranging from pre-entry to Level 2.  The age range of students will span from 16 -18 to 19+.  


Displaying flexibility and enthusiasm the successful candidate will be able to deliver a range of courses, with proven experience in some or all of the following subjects; HPQ, Customer Service, Humanities, PSD, Employability, Fitness.  It is essential that you are experienced in assessing, recording and tracking students.


You must have demonstrable high levels of skills in teaching and learning to enable you to deliver a variety of programmes to disengaged and disadvantaged young people and adults. In addition, you will have a proven track record of securing excellent student outcomes at vocational and/or foundation level.


Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working with students from a range of different backgrounds are also essential.


This is a maternity cover post until 31st May 2020.
