TEACHER OF FRENCH and GERMAN

MPS

JANUARY 2020

We can offer you an opportunity to work in the Modern Foreign Languages Department at one of the top performing comprehensive schools in the country.  We require a well-motivated teacher who is committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning.  You will be able to teach French and German up to at least GCSE Level and preferably German up to A Level.  However, other combinations of Spanish, French and/or German may be considered.  German will be taught until summer 2021, after which we will only offer French and Spanish at the school.  The post may be offered on a temporary or permanent contract depending on the skills offered.  It is an ideal post for a newly qualified teacher or someone looking to progress their career to the next stage.

The Modern Foreign Languages Department Level is a vibrant and dynamic team and offers courses at NVQ, GCSE and A Level.

We can offer excellent working conditions, a supportive environment and plenty of opportunity for further development.  The superb facilities include modern designated learning spaces for all curriculum areas, an on-site nursery and a new sports complex.

Please apply in writing to the Headteacher, Mr M Foley by letter (max 1 side xA4) and a completed application form (available on school website).  Applications should be returned to Mrs Anita Pullen (Headteacher’s PA) by the deadline Monday 14th October.

Further information is available on our website: www.thomas-hardye.net

The Thomas Hardye School is committed to Equal Opportunities and to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
