Job overview

Teacher of French

The Hathershaw College is a very successful and oversubscribed 11-16 Academy within the Pinnacle Learning Trust, which consists of ourselves, Oldham Sixth Form College and Werneth Primary School.  We are also well located with good public transport links and excellent access to the motorway network.

We are an OFSTED graded good school across all areas and our Progress 8 score always indicates that students make good or better progress.

We are looking to appoint a Teacher of French from April 2022 or sooner if possible to join our dedicated MFL team.  This is role suitable for those with experience or those seeking their first post.  We have an excellent Early Career Teacher programme, so newly qualified teachers would be extremely well supported.  For those with experience, we will consider a recruitment and retention package.

Should you wish to apply for the post, please complete the online TES application form and include up to two pages of supplementary information about why you want to work for us and what you could bring to the role.

If you require more information, please contact Danielle Hunt, PA to the Principal, on 0161 770 8514 or by email dhu@hathershaw.org.uk.

Closing Date: Friday 3rd December 2021

Interviews: Week beginning 6th December 2021
