Job overview

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and outstanding Teacher of French, with ability to teach German desirable but not essential, to join our high achieving, experienced and supportive Languages Department. French is one of the most successful subjects in the school, with excellent results at GCSE. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and be able to teach across all Key Stages. The department is at an exciting stage in its development with a significant increase in students taking languages over recent years. Experiences are enriched with exciting trips abroad and rich extra-curricular opportunities for students. The role would be ideal for a NQT or experienced teacher. 

Bungay High School Academy is a thriving and successful school situated in a pleasant rural area. We are 20 miles from Norwich and 15 miles from the delightful heritage coast. Bungay High School is a co-educational secondary school with academy status in Bungay, Suffolk. It caters for children aged 11-18.

The school, originally Bungay Grammar School, became Bungay High School in 1974. A range of academic and vocational and academic qualifications are offered in its sixth form.
