Living Here

Corfe Hills School in a fabulous location within easy reach of Bournemouth and its beaches, Poole and its harbour, the Jurassic Coast and the Dorset countryside. The school serves the catchment area of Broadstone, Corfe Mullen and the wider area and we truly believe that all of our students are exceptional. The school was most recently graded as “requires improvement” and has made significant changes to ensure that all students reach their potential. The recently formed leadership team and wider staff body are all extremely passionate about ensuring that all students “learn to the max” every lesson. The school has embraced this period of change and welcomed the challenge that Ofsted set us.

Our 2018 results demonstrate the impact of these changes with rapid improvement in attainment and progress.  83% of students achieved grades 4 to 9 in English and 80% grades 4 to 9 in Mathematics.  The number of students with both English and Mathematics at grades 5 to 9 has risen a massive 12% between 2017 and 2018 to 49%.
