The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who will join a well-established department to teach geography across all key stages. The geography department is forward thinking, extremely well resourced and the achievement of our pupils is exceptional. Geography is a popular subject and over 150 pupils choose to study geography at GCSE. In 2017, 60% of our pupils achieved A* - A grades at GCSE and a pass rate of 90%. Geography is also a major contributor to the College’s success in the English Baccalaureate.
We welcome applications from NQTs as well as those who wish to train to teach. Trainee teachers at Wembley High receive a comprehensive, structured training programme, delivered by highly trained mentors and bespoke to the individual trainee's needs. It is a part of the Wembley Multi Academy Trust and has an established reputation for a strong focus on academic excellence.
