Manchester Islamic Educational Trust are seeking to appoint an outstanding and committed Teacher of Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 to GCSE Level at this 11 – 16 Independent Islamic Grammar School for Girls.
The successful candidate with have the ability to achieve positive outcomes for all students, supporting them to develop their skills and understanding through an enquiry based approach to learning. They will work within a successful and established team to provide teaching across KS3 and KS4.
In our last three consecutive OFSTED reports, we were judged to be an outstanding school.

Manchester Islamic Grammar school has its own salary scale, and the starting salary for this post is £21,029 -£26,029 according to qualifications, skills and experience.

The Manchester Islamic High School for Girls is an all girls, Muslim independent secondary school in the county of Lancashire serving students from the age of 11-16. The secondary school, situated in Chorlton, Manchester has approximately 219 students on record.
The Manchester Islamic High School for Girls was established in 1991 by the Manchester Islamic Education Trust Ltd, who also oversee The Manchester Muslim Preparatory School and Kassim Darwish Grammar School for Boys. It was the first school in Manchester to combine the teaching of Islam along with the National Curriculum. The school was identified as outstanding by Ofsted in 2015.
