Tes are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Geography on a part-time (0.6) fixed term basis from October 2021 to cover a maternity. Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.

Approximately 850 pupils from 40 countries across the world benefit from the knowledge and expertise gained over the last 160 years of putting girls first.
The school are currently looking for a talented and committed Teacher of Geography to join their high-performing department. There are over 100 girls studying GCSE Geography across Years 10 and 11 and approximately 50 studying the subject at A level and IB. They also have a number of girls who go on to study Geography at university.
The successful applicant will be part of a team of five specialist teachers. The department is well-resourced and full support with induction and continuing professional development is provided. All teachers are expected to contribute to the rich co-curricular life, but there are no residential duties.
The successful applicant should have evidence of being, or have the clear potential to be, an outstanding Teacher of Geography. Ideally you will have experience of teaching across all key stages, including exam groups, but most importantly you should demonstrate a passion for the subject and be an ambitious teacher who will ensure excellent progress for all students.
