The department is dynamic, supportive and successful with a history of strong results at KS4 & 5. At KS3 all pupils study geography, at KS4, geography is a popular options subject and at KS5 pupils are able to opt for A Level geography courses from the Eduqas specification. As a flexible practitioner, you will teach across a wide ability range while maintaining high expectations for all learners. Up to date and relevant knowledge of the world and the processes that take place within it, both human and physical is essential. Knowledge of physical geography in particular to an excellent standard at A Level is essential, as well as a desire to help every child fulfil their potential. Experience of teaching and delivering the NEA A level content is also desirable but not essential.
