Parrenthorn High School wish to recruit a temporary Teacher of Girls’ PE.

This post is temporary to cover the maternity leave of the substantive post holder.

Parrenthorn High School is an outstanding, popular and over-subscribed 11-16 co-educational comprehensive school located in a pleasant semi-rural area with easy access to the M60, M62 and M66 motorways, Bury and Manchester.

The salary for this post is Teachers’ Pay Range - £23,720 to £39,406 per annum.

An outstanding teacher of Physical Education is required to teach Physical Education throughout the school to GCSE level.   Applicants should be creative and forward thinking and have the drive and motivation to support the further development of the Department and the school.

Located in Prestwich, Greater Manchester, Parrenthorn High School is a co-educational secondary school established in 1974. In response to local demand the school buildings have recently been extended and adapted to accommodate an increased intake and has approximately 976 pupils aged 11-16 on roll.
