Currently the students can study Level 3 CTEC (2016) at Extended Certificate and Diploma Level. There is also a CTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate.

The department is very proud to offer two T Level pathways, one in Health which is also part of a city-wide Health Academy to ensure all students have prioritised placements and one in Education & Childcare. The provision is delivered in high spec industry standard specialist classrooms equipped with the latest resources. This has supported the success of the students and ensured a 100% seamless progression into HE or the healthcare profession employment.

The Health & Social Care department is lively, dynamic and progressive in terms of its approaches and there is both a mutually friendly, supportive and professional atmosphere within the department. All colleagues have a strong emphasis on encouraging a positive rapport between staff and students in the pursuit of academic success.
