This is a fantastic and exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or NQT who has the ability to teach Health & Social Care at Key Stage 4 and 5. Applicants will need to have good subject knowledge at Level 3 to teach at Key Stage 5. Due to the expansion of the curriculum offer, an additional permanent Teacher of Health & Social Care is required who has the ability and willingness to teach other subjects to meet the needs of the faculty and school. In particular, applicants will need to demonstrate a sound knowledge and expertise in the following areas:
• Anatomy & Physiology
• Equality & diversity
Applicants will also need to demonstrate the ability to accept new ideas and a thorough commitment to student learning with evidence of high level of subject specialism and professional development, as well as a flexible and adaptable attitude to meet the needs of the faculty and the school.
