We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join the very successful Humanities faculty teaching History at all key stages, including A-level. The successful applicant will also be required to teach a mixture of Geography and RE Key Stage 3 classes. The post would be suitable for an NQT or a more experienced teacher. Excellent support is provided for any new member of staff no matter what stage of their career they are at.
History is a very popular subject and there are typically 4-5 GCSE groups in Year 10 and in Year 11. Similarly, we recruit well at A-level with typically 2-3 A-level groups in Year 12 and in Year 13. The faculty has a strong reputation locally and nationally for its innovative approach to academic teaching. At your disposal will be a wealth of high quality resources.
Examination results are outstanding and an increasing number of students go on to study Geography, History and RE at university. We are looking for a teacher to join a team that is as dedicated and passionate about these subjects and its students as we are.
The school is a short walk from Upminster station where Overground and Underground services are available; these connect to central London (Fenchurch Street), Romford and all District Line destinations. The school is also a short drive from the M25, A12 and A13.

The Coopers' Company and Coborn School in Upminster is a dynamic 11-18 co-educational school for 1,467 pupils. Our roots date back to 1536.
