The governors are seeking an experienced and qualified teacher of History to join the History department from September 2018 as maternity cover. You will have a proven track record of success in the classroom and must be able to demonstrate the talent, interpersonal and leadership skills required to inspire and motivate students and colleagues. Above all you must have a passion for your subject and be able to embed an enjoyment of History in your lessons. The successful applicant must be able to teach across all key stages including A Level.

Pupils are polite, welcoming to visitors and keen to discuss their work and experiences of learning. During break and lunchtime, they cooperate and clearly enjoy spending time together. Pupils who attended an interview with inspectors stated that behaviour is good in their lessons and that learning is rarely disrupted.”
