The Ripley Academy is an 11-18 school located in Derbyshire close to Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield and within easy reach of the Peak District. We are a member of the East Midlands Education Trust and work in close partnership with the other academies within the Trust including The West Bridgford School and John Flamsteed Community School.


We welcome applications from all who feel they have the ability, enthusiasm and commitment to enhance the lives of students at our Academy.

 

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and innovative Teacher of History for Key Stages 3 and 4 with the possibility of Key Stage 5; someone who has the drive and determination to make a significant, positive impact on our students ensuring all achieve their full potential. This post will be particularly suitable for NQTs as support is available within the department.

About The Ripley Academy

‘The Ripley Academy is located in Ripley, Derbyshire. The School was a founding member of the East Midlands Education Trust when it was formed in September 2014 and the Trust now has fourteen partner schools.
