We are one of the top performing grammar schools in the South East based in the London suburb of Sidcup. A heavily oversubscribed mixed selective grammar school where students excel with many going on to Oxbridge or other Russell Group universities. Our students are bright, motivated and enthusiastic.
From September 2018 we require an enthusiastic and well qualified graduate to be a teacher of History and Geography. The ability to teach History at A level is essential. It would also be an advantage to teach both Geography and Government and Politics at A level. Both departments within the school are successful and have a positive uptake at GCSE and A level. Geography and History are taught as discreet subjects following a diverse KS3 curriculum in line with the national curriculum guidelines. Within both subject areas there are opportunities to extend learning through trips and extra-curricular experiences.
