Darrick Wood is a mixed eight-form entry outstanding school in Orpington, Kent. As a designated Teaching School, we can provide you with a supportive teaching environment, and exciting development opportunities. The History Department is housed in dedicated classrooms in the Humanities Faculty. History is a very popular GCSE and A level subject. The School has an extensive Wi-Fi network and provides laptops for all staff.
The Department is extremely well resourced and occupies a suite of spacious and suitably equipped rooms in the Faculty area on the first floor of the new building. All classrooms have interactive whiteboards. There is good access to recently upgraded ICT rooms on all three floors.
